Hello my name is Princess Nelson. I want to start off by saying thank you for finding interest in attending my academy. A little background about myself and how P&M was founded. I served in the United States Navy for 8-years, honorable discharge. I am currently obtaining a degree for Human Resource Managment at Roosevelt University. I am a jack of all trades, throughout my years I've invested my time and money in the beauty world such as nail tech, eyelashes, esthetics, teeth whitening, micro shading, and many more. After investing my time and money in these trades my interest was just not there anymore. So, I told myself to make an attempt towards the medical field, I knew being an CNA was not my interest, after doing my research phlebotomy was something that caught my eye. I took a 3-week course and fell in love. I passed my exam first time up and was able to work in a hospital within 2 months of receiving my license. However, I did not see myself working at a hospital or clinic forever, I wanted to do something where I still have the background of Phlebotomy but use my skills in a more advance way. I thought why not just teach Phlebotomy and help others along the way that may want to start their journey in the health care field.
