          Meet Your Instructor

Hello, my name is Princess Nelson, and I would like to begin by thanking you for your interest in attending P&M Gentle Hands Phlebotomy Academy.

I proudly served in the United States Navy for eight years and received an honorable discharge. I am currently pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management at Roosevelt University. Throughout my professional journey, I have gained experience in several industries and consider myself highly adaptable. I previously invested significant time and resources in the beauty industry, including nail technology, eyelash services, esthetics, teeth whitening, microshading, and other specialties. While these experiences were valuable, I eventually realized that my passion no longer aligned with that field.

Seeking a more fulfilling career path, I turned my focus to the medical field. After researching various healthcare roles, I discovered phlebotomy, which immediately captured my interest. I completed a three-week phlebotomy program, passed my certification exam on the first attempt, and began working in a hospital setting within two months of receiving my certification.

Although I gained valuable experience in the clinical environment, I knew I wanted to expand beyond traditional hospital or clinic work. I wanted to apply my phlebotomy skills in a more meaningful and impactful way. This led me to the decision to teach phlebotomy and support others who are beginning their journey in the healthcare field. P&M Gentle Hands Phlebotomy Academy was created to provide students with quality education, hands-on training, and the confidence needed to succeed in this profession.
